Our signature setup is the 8-9 piece party band: multiple vocalists, a brass section, a genuinely big sound for couples who want the room to feel full. But if that's beyond your budget or your venue can't hold it, the 5-7 piece party band delivers the same energy and the same musicianship in a leaner format. It's the option we most often point budget-conscious couples toward, because nothing about the quality drops, you're simply paying for fewer musicians.
So before anything else, decide your number. Then we'll build the band to fit it rather than the other way around.
A full Function party band isn't the only way to get live music into your day. Some of the most cost-effective choices we offer are also the most atmospheric.
The jazz trio brings a polished, classy feel to a drinks reception or cocktail hour without the cost of a full ensemble. The cocktail band does something similar, smooth, instrumental, the right backdrop while guests arrive and mingle. And the roaming band is a favourite for couples who want something memorable on a tighter budget: unplugged, mobile, moving between guests during the reception or dinner and getting everyone singing before the main event even starts.
Mixing a smaller live format earlier in the day with a bigger push later is a smart way to spread your spend across the parts of the day that matter most.
One of the most practical ways to stretch a wedding budget is to keep your evening covered by a single supplier instead of two. Our wedding band and DJ package does exactly that.
You get live sets from the band plus DJ sets to keep the floor moving in between and on into the night, all coordinated by one team. For couples who want the room to stay lively from the first dance to the last song, this tends to work out better than booking a separate band and a separate DJ, and there's no awkward gap while one act packs down and another sets up.
If you want to take the evening up a level, our DJ Live option puts Salut musicians alongside the DJ, great as an after-party or when space is tighter but you still want that live feel.
